AN ‘AUTO SPA’ LIKE YOUR VEHICLE HAS
NEVER SEEN BEFORE…

John Ross is kind of like Bob Ross –
unique with his artistic touch, except maybe a bit more
interesting…! An artist with cars and a unique style in his
people-skills and customer approach as well, Ross can turn a
challenge into a fun adventure and make you fall in love with your
car all over again.

Those who know him and his work swear
by his talent and skills to make their vehicles shine and ride like
they’re practically new! Says Joyce Bodkin, “He’s well-known and
very much in demand. He does very good, amazing work which is very
detailed and takes a lot of time to really do the complete job quite
thoroughly. I know many people who use his services.”

Cathie Bisson concurs, as she tells
about how he reinvents his clients’ vehicles: “John is so
meticulous and particular in each detail opportunity he gets;
devoting the time and energy in every vehicle he does, whether it’s a
classic car, a family car, a sports car or a work truck that folks
think they get a new ride when it’s returned to them. He finds all
the grime that life in a car creates, leaving the cars looking and
smelling their best. I’ve seen clients remove their shoes before
getting in their car. His final products resemble works of art and he
is a talented artist.”

If you wish to ‘reinvent your car’,
Ross is the man who can help you in your reinvention process! Fully
insured and educated as a past student of Kentucky Motors Federated,
Ross knows a thing or two about the car business and how to create a
complete professional auto detailing to your beloved set of wheels.

BEFORE the ‘auto artist’ took this car under his TLC…

But auto cleaning makes sense when you
realize his background is quite the bridge that drove him to where he
is now in his diverse and creative career. With 28 years in the
business, he knows and loves cars – from the steering wheel to your
leather seats, but when he was younger, he used to clean up
apartments and homes with his mom. Those homes were being repurposed, so it was fitting that he would follow that path in his own way, as that experience gave him a deeper appreciation for how to take
pride in all things that need a bit of extra tender loving care.

Said Ross, “I grew up around guys who
painted and repaired older cars and fixed up homes and it just had a
certain impact on me. I took pride in my cars after that with the
extra attention I gave them and then a gentleman asked me one day,
‘who does your car’? And I said, “I do.”

… and AFTER the artistry was completed…

This brought Ross another question
which the man asked of him, “Would you like to do around 40 of
these a month for sixty dollars? And I said, I’d like to do 80 for
ninety a whole lot better and that’s how it all got started for me.”
Great negotiation skills mixed in with some talent and pride and of
course, a new career was born out of that one chat!

His first car detail job was done under
a tree one Christmas winter day and he fell in love with the work and
has done this for a living ever since.

Ross does it all too – from steam
cleaning a car’s carpets to painting, penstripping, detailing –
everything from A to Z. I’ll do work trucks, concrete trucks,
forklifts, all kinds of business trucks and various types of
vehicles. Trucks that travel to country fairs and festivals. Ross
also works for individuals but for other companies as a vendor with
his own independent businesses.

Ross attacts customers all the time: “I
have a new customer asking me to do their car at least once a week.
In off-seasons through winter, I also take care of lots of
construction work for my commerical clients.”

TRICKS OF THE TRADE AND WINGS OF
RESOURCE…

John Ross also does odor removal and
paint correction, dye carpets, and cleans headliners. He’s also
worked on fleets and airplanes as well.

He worked on some planes in the past as well and said he enjoyed that work as it was so different than cars or trucks. “The windows have to be cleaned with vinegar and cheesecloth to keep the windows from being scratched and with that insight, I started using this as a resourceful trick to use on cars and my customers really love that.”
